The Kent Game & Equine Festival is amongst the first of the great regional game fairs in the calendar; it is set to return on March 27th & 28th 2010 at the Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone. This long established event which attracts over 10,000 visitors will introduce a brand new Indoor Equine Arena for 2010. Local Pony Clubs, East Kent Hunt, Isle of Sheppey, West Street and South Down Hunt East will be featuring at the show in the Pony Club horse & hound challenge.

The Pony Club team- horse & rider and runner & hound, will compete against the three other Kent based Pony Clubs in the horse & hound challenge. The teams will be judged and offered advice, as well as presented the winning trophy, by international show jumper Geoff Billington who is starring at this year’s show.

The brand new Indoor Equine Arena for the 2010 will host an array of equine events and features over the weekend. Geoff will be performing two exciting show jumping demonstrations on each day of the event and will also be available over the weekend for autograph sessions. Visitors at the Kent Game and Equine Festival will be treated to an entertaining display by Geoff for he is not only renowned as a great horseman, but as an entertainer, having even been awarded the ‘Horse & Hound Equestrian Personality of the Year’.

Sunday is equally jam packed featuring a Native Breed stallion parade as well as the Pony Club horse & hound challenge.
