  FACTS!
- This event has been the only CDI*** held in Australia each year. Foreign riders cannot easily bring their own horses to the CDI because of strict quarantine requirements and the high cost of air transport from other continents.

- Ricky MacMillan riding Crisp was over the moon with her performance, “it was the horses first start in five months but, but he was marvellous, overall I’m really happy”. The 17-year old horse, has been to two Olympics and two world championships, and still manages to be in great form.

- “I was really happy. It wasn’t as explosive a test as usual, it was a bit safer, but it was mistake free so I was happy” said Heath Ryan, riding Greenoak's Dundee. Ryan is very excited about the future that ‘Dundee’ Holds, although believes that he needs to improve a bit to be more competitive at the top level. “He’s only 10, so as far as his performance was when looking at his future I’m ecstatic, he really tried for me”.

  FACTS!
- Saumur was a wonderful show, combining tests for ponies, juniors, Young Riders and seniors in a wonderful atmosphere and surroudings of the Cadre Noir

- Father and son van Silfhout both competed at Senior level and Junior level repectively. Son Diederik was the most succesful one of the two, winning all the Juniortests with his Dutch-bred Havel-son Olympus

- This CDIO2* was a truly international show, with fifteen nationalities represented in the Grand Prix and six teams in the Nations Cup
