Easy to get to venue off dual carriageway (A30 or A38) or from Bodmin. Careful parking in field near Cardinham Airfield. Pleasant forestry and bridleway tracks. Forestry is in a valley, which offers beautiful scenery and testing gradients. Some moor land and country lanes complete the second part of the course.

From a lovely venue in the middle of a private estate between Liskeard and Lostwithiel, riders go across fields, woodland and down onto forest tracks beside the Looe River; up and over Bury Down with spectacular views of Du Maurier country before coming home. Longer distances will also go around the estate through woods and fields, along ancient tracks, around a deerpark and return passing the lake. (last years winners pictured)
