Phillips and Funnell Head for France

Reigning World Champion, Zara Phillips and Double Badminton winner, Pippa Funnell are heading toFrance next week to contest the CCI** at Compiegne, just north of Paris. The event takes place from 9th – 19th April in the grounds of the Grand Park and Compiegne Race Course.
Zara rides Edward Belcher’s, Secret Legacy, the horse she competed in the one star at Barroca in Portugal at the beginning of March and Pippa rides Janet McIntyre’s Blue Horizon, on whom she was second in the CCI** at Weston Park last autumn. Joining them is recent Burnham Market World Cup Qualifier winner, Francis Whittington, riding Meantime Liatos owned by the Meantime Syndicate.
