The BHS South West Wales Region welcomes its 1,000th member
The British Horse Society's (BHS) South West Wales Region - covering Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot - has broken through the 1,000-member barrier.
At the Annual Meeting on Thursday 20 October, Mrs Pam Davies, of Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, was presented with BHS gift vouchers and champagne by South West Wales Regional Chairman Mrs Sue Enfield. Mrs Davies joined the BHS at the Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells, in July.
Mrs Enfield said: "I am extremely pleased with the way membership has grown in the last year and am delighted to welcome Mrs Davies to The British Horse Society and to the South West Wales Region."
The 1,000 members supporting the charity in the South West Wales Region helps to ensure that the BHS can improve access, welfare and safety locally, as well as supporting the charity on a national level.
Members of the BHS get great benefits including Personal Liability and Personal Accident insurance cover (terms, conditions and territorial limits apply, full details on request), access to legal and other helplines, six issues a year of British Horse magazine, a Yearbook packed with useful information, and access to expert advice on a wide range of equestrian matters.
