Rolex to support “FEI Equestrian World”
The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) is proud to announce its association with the Swiss watchmaker company, Rolex SA. The result of this partnership will be a television magazine entitled “FEI Equestrian World”. Released on a monthly basis, this half-hour television magazine programme will be launched in February 2006.
Concentrating on the spirit of the sport and the lifestyle surrounding it, “FEI Equestrian World” will be more than a competition and sports news magazine. The programme will contain interviews with notable personalities, be they riders, coaches, course designers, veterinarians or representatives of any of the numerous horsesport professionals, taking a look behind the scenes, as well as covering all the latest news and hot topics. The magazine will also present the FEI’s efforts in key areas such as sports development.
FEI Equestrian World will be produced by British based MBPtv, the FEI TV Coordinators, and distributed worldwide by Trans World International (TWI).
“It is a longstanding ambition of the FEI’s that is finally coming into being,” the FEI President The Infanta HRH Doña Pilar de Borbón declared. “FEI Equestrian World would not have been possible without Rolex. It is an exciting project for the sport, the FEI and Rolex.”
