Kingswood Equestrian Centre installs new indoor surface
Equestrian Surfaces Premier stabilised surface installed
Kingswood, Staffordshire, 30 September, 2003:
A new indoor riding surface has been installed at Kingswood Equestrian Centre in response to requests by show clients to improve the going. “We recognised at the end of last winter season that something needed doing,” said MD Robert Lickley, “but we have a lot of activities to cater for and the first solution was not necessarily the best. After working closely with David Andrews from Equestrian Surfaces we decided that the Premier stabilising mix was the ideal solution.”
Described as “The ultimate additive,” the polypropylene and elastic strands are further enhanced with additional cushioning synthetic fibres that provide lateral and vertical binding. The surface has already undergone extensive use and is holding up very well. It is now providing vertical and lateral support to horses, especially on the corners, where even if it does go a little deep, the horses still remain on top of the flooring. So convinced of the ability of this surface to work well under heavy usage, Kingswood Equestrian Centre are now stockists and agents for the surface in the Midlands region.
In co-operation with a local merchant we will shortly be able to offer a collection, delivery and installation service. This surface is also ideal to be added to existing indoor or outdoor arenas to provide much-improved going.
