So you’ve sent your cards, got your calendar and now you need a present for a young person mad about show jumping – The Pony Club has the answer, The Young Persons Guide to Show Jumping. Written by legendary British show jumper Tim Stockdale, the book emphasises the need for correct basic training of both horse and rider and covers everything from how the horse jumps, the jumping seat and suitable tack, to how to ride under competition conditions.
