LOCAL VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE AWARDS
The Cubitt Award is given to volunteers who have served The Pony Club for over 20 years and have been nominated by their local Branch; the list of those who will receive an award in 2005 is attached.
The Awards were presented to the majority of recipients at a special awards lunch held at Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire today Monday, 27th June. (Those marked in yellow were unable to attend and will receive their awards on appropriate occasions during the course of 2005).
The Pony Club is the biggest combined youth organisation in the country with over 44,000 Members.
The award gains its name from Hon Guy Cubitt who was the Chairman of The Pony Club for 25 years and President from 1970 – 1979.
