 Show jumping equine pathway

(11 March, 2008)

In 2006 the Lottery funded World Class Programme introduced an Equine Pathway across all Olympic disciplines to seek and identify horses that show the potential to reach Olympic level.

If you have a young horse which you feel has the talent and potential to win medals for Great Britain, then you will now have the opportunity to present your horse for viewing by the Equine Pathway “Team”.

Members will be able to present their 5, 6, 7 and 8 year-old horses over a full course of fences on Wednesday 16th April 2008 at Quainton Stud, Lower Denham Farm, Quainton, Nr Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP22 4AQ.

The aim of the Equine Pathway is, primarily, to improve the communication with owners and riders of horses showing the potential to reach European, World and Olympic level competition. The Team Staff are there to help you and discuss your horse’s progression and future competition structure. Specific support is provided on an individual basis with general advice being available to all on the World Class Equine Pathway.
