The Swiss teams did not let any possibility to the other teams to bring back home one of the Nations Cups. After the victory on Sunday in the Junior Nations Cup, Switzerland doubled the performance on Monday in the Young Rider Nations Cup. But they had to fight with German and British team to keep their advantage. Thanks to a triple clear round in the second round, the Swiss team confirmed its supremacy.
Later in the afternoon, Deborah Lazzarotto had to fight till the end of the jump off against 5 other couples. She did it faster in 47’’04 riding her Belgian mare Alpaga DB. Winner of last year, French Julia Dallamano, finished 3rd with a new horse, Aramis des Fontaines. Son of the German chef d’équipe, Maximilian Weishaupt, did his best but few thousandth of second let him on the 2nd step.
