Reallocation of Wincanton Horse Show Qualifiers

Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) is pleased to announce that qualifiers due to take place at the cancelled Wincanton Horse Show have been reallocated to alternative events.

The BSPS Summer Championships Show in Allington near Grantham on 24th – 27th August will now host the following HOYS qualifiers:

  • Garrick Surface Coatings Small Hack of the Year
  • The Stennett Family Large Hack of the Year
  • Equimax & Eraquell Lightweight Cob of the Year
  • Equimax & Eraquell Heavyweight Cob of the Year

The BSHA National Championship Show in Addington near Buckingham on 9th and 10th September will now host the following HOYS qualifiers:

  • Oggy Oggy 153cm Intermediate Show Riding Type of the Year
  • Oggy Oggy 158cm Intermediate Show Riding Type of the Year
  • Guy Fawkes III Intermediate Show Hunter of the Year

The 2011 Horse of the Year Show takes place in the LG Arena at Birmingham’s NEC and promises to be another exceptional event not to be missed! It will also host the conclusion to the most highly regarded showing and show jumping championships, alongside an exciting line-up of equestrian entertainment including The Household Cavalry Musical Ride, the Pony Club Mounted Games for the Prince Philip Cup, Osborne Refrigerators Double Harness Scurry Racing, Dressage on Friday and the infamous HOYS Retail Village featuring hundreds of trade stands and the new Think Like a Pony Interactive Feature Area!
